Mocha In My Coffee
Tanell Vashawn Allen is a sought after author, host, personality, poet, motivational speaker, life coach, and preacher. She started public speaking at the age fifteen and has trail blazed through public speaking. She has spoken at youth events, Inspirational women luncheons, poetry nights and community events. She was the 2007 commencement speaker for her graduating class at Elgin Community College. In 2009 she graduated from Spelman College. Tanell was the guest speaker for student recognition day at Faithwalk Harvest Center, and 2010 one of 100 young preachers under 30, speaking at the Preachers Festival Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. She is an entrepreneur and has several entrepreneurial ventures under her belt such as, “Mocha in My Coffee: Brewing Greatness, a motivational speaking and writing company,” and Color Me Mocha Glam Squad. In 2012 Tanell graduated from McAfee School of Theology. In 2012 she worked in Beijing, China as an English teacher & engaged in international ministry. In 2013, Allen started the "Latte' Project" mentoring teen girls. In 2018 she retuned to hosting her podcast/radio show "Mornings with Mocha." In 2019 she released her first book tittled, "Let the Say Amen: Confessions of Single Minister." Allen is set to release her second book in 2020. She has been hosting empowerment confereces for a decade. She is a member of Emmanual Baptist Church.
